Job openings at Sant’Anna School for 2 Data Engineers: all details for the submission of applications

New job opportunities at Sant’Anna School: a public selection call based on qualifications and competitive exams has been announced, for recruiting two technical staff members within the Department of Excellence L’EMbeDS. These are permanent positions, with placement in D grade. 

The selection is reserved for graduates, including those with a bachelor’s degree, in the fields of Chemistry or Computer Science or Information Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or Statistics.

These roles will have the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, with a focus on research and diverse responsibilities: the positions entail a variety of tasks including server virtualization, resource allocation, network infrastructure maintenance, and direct engagement in the development of tools and code used for L’EMbeDS research; moreover, the successful candidates will deal with state-of-the-art Hyper-V and VMware technologies, directly contributing to the infrastructural management, design and implementation of research and teaching initiatives, with a focus on scientific data management and computing, technical support of research projects, and research-oriented IT infrastructure management. Therefore, applicants must have expertise in Microsoft/Linux OS administration, network protocols, hardware/software setup, LAN/WiFi networks, and scripting languages.
